Jane Davies is a passionate professional with more than two decades experience in the hair industry, including owning a multi award-winning hair salon in the UK for 7 years before moving to Perth in March 2014.
Jane began her passion for hair and scalp health more than a decade ago, where she trained in hair science at the world famous Philip Kingsley Clinic in London, before completing her certification in trichology with the International Association of Trichologists.
Jane is a guest lecturer at Taylor Weir International School of Hairdressing. Jane believes that hair stylists can often see hair loss and scalp issues in their clients, but many do not have the training or confidence to recommend a course of action. She is working to help educate stylists and salon owners of the advantages to managing their clients hair health as part of the service they provide.
Jane also volunteers at Solaris Cancer Care at St John of God in Subiaco and at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Nedlands.
Jane is keen to support to their patients when presented with hair and scalp health issues: Providing support and advice, for example, to patients undergoing chemotherapy.
